Charles A. Rose, 33, of Warner, NH formerly of Holliston, MA passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 due to complications from a relapse of leukemia. He was the husband of Jennifer (Sylva) Rose. Born in Framingham, MA, he was the son of Charles and Sandra (Jacobs) Rose of Uxbridge, MA.
Charlie graduated from Holliston High School Class of 2001 before attending the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, from which he graduated with a BS degree in Computer Science in 2006. He was employed as a Software Support Engineer for PTC in Needham, MA.
"Rosie", as his many friends, colleagues and associates called him, was an avid outdoorsman and lifelong fan of New England sports. He played football at both the collegiate and high school level. The tenacity with which he battled his disease was honed on the gridiron and also on the mat as a member of the Panthers wrestling team. His personality and great love for life touched everyone lucky enough to know him. A fighter to the end, Charlie battled leukemia for five years before the disease went into remission.  He married Jennifer and moved to Kearsage Mt. in Warner. Barely a year later, he suffered a relapse from which he could not recover.
His love of life had its roots in his wife and family but extended to everyone he encountered.
Besides his wife Jennifer and his parents, Charlie is survived by one sister: Meg Streichert and her husband Paul of Uxbridge, MA; one niece: Maggie Streichert and one nephew: Jack Streichert both of Uxbridge, MA.
