Josephine J. (DeSalvia) Terasconi of Milford, MA passed away April 14, 2010 in Lydia Taft House, Uxbridge, MA surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Angelo A. Terasconi who passed away in 1995. Born in Milford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Giovannina (Constantino) DeSalvia.
Mrs. Terasconi was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and a member of the Sacred Heart Women's Club. She was also a friend and volunteer of the Milford Senior Center and a member of the Milford Hospital Auxiliary. She was a former employee of Bickford Shoe, the Archer Rubber Company, and the Milford Shoe Factory. She truly enjoyed her family, bowling with her husband, bingo games, and playing cards.
Mrs. Terasconi is survived by her son Dennis and his wife Jean (Simmons) Terasconi of Hopedale, MA; one grandson: Michael J. Terasconi of Virginia; one granddaughter: Lisa J. Terasconi of Hopedale, MA; one brother: Michael DeSalvia Jr., of Milford, MA; her niece Roseanne (Terasconi) and her husband Richard Dubois of Rhode Island and her nephew: Kenneth Pandozzi of Rhode Island. She also leaves Mr. and Mrs. David Terasconi and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Terasconi of South Dennis, MA; Patricia Terasconi of Framingham, MA; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Terasconi of Millville, MA; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Terasconi and Cheryl (Terasconi) Balsam of Florida.
Josephine was the loving sister of the late Nicholas DeSalvia, Rose Pandozzi, Pauline Terasconi, and Carmella Suwalski.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 9:00am in the James E. Kellett and Son Funeral Home, 21 West St., Milford, MA followed by a mass at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (Lower Church), East Main St., Milford, MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Milford, MA.
Calling hours are Friday, April 16, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 PM.
